Most Fartistic: Due to my last, rather miserable, notice, I must now deliver cheer for concerned viewers: today, I was accepted into the Massachusetts College of Art! I am extremely pleased and surprised at the institution's reaction, as Mass Art and Rhode Island School of Design are my top prospects for my furthered education. I must now stray from the subject to state the absolute truth: firstly, I apologize to Hope, who contacted me in regard to her material a mere seven days following my prior update, and I understand that to delay overmuch is inexcusable, I must very solemnly confess that in that week, a singularly unexpected event occurred that revolutionized my life irrevocably (in order to preserve the necessary cheer that prevails as the basis of The Humor Asylum, I shall not state it here, but if you are terribly concerned and have yet to be informed, please contact me.
Furthermore, and largely due to the above statement, to my most cherished readers I must reveal that it shall be rare that I will update in the future (though if an addition is offered, I am always pleased to accept and update; encouragement has perpetually been the justification for my continuance, and this site is no exception. ^_^) I created this cherished webspace in order to ascend from torment, and now I must bury my pain. Thank you all for the care and enthusiasm you have displayed for the past six years, and hopefully, The Humor Asylum shall continue evermore.

Again, I apologize for not updating much, but I've built the site to the point where I barely have the need. (I'm so proud. ^_^) That, and I've been extremely occupied, but nonetheless, I'm always happy to accept donations to the site and update whenever I have the chance! I must thank everyone who has given me the support to continue The Humor Asylum for almost five years (the anniversary is in April! Be excited... and afraid.)
9-10-03- From the lack of updates lately, one can judge I'm back to school ;_; I've also been terribly occupied over the summer (I spent nearly eighty hours producing my Raziel costume for Shoujocon, which took two to four hours every day of the month of July alone. Of course, I've already began another one, but this is more for the sake of making a fun costume than for a specific event, which is taking so much stress away...) But yes. To the updates, Robin! The very wonderful and patient (I apologize for not putting these up earlier!) Autumn Maggs has submitted to the guest quotes page. So yes! View them, be happy, and eat some delicious sauce.

5-22-03-I only have a simple update today... the translator of "Pretty White Kids with Problems" (which can be found in the MadTV lyrics section) requested that I switch his moniker to his real name, so I changed that, as well as adding an excellent quote in the quotes section!

4-1-03-:::Cheers::: After a month and a half, I finally got off my lazy arse and updated! (At a very appropriate time as well! Not only is it April Fools Day, 'tis also what my GSA proudly dubs "Gaypril," or Gay Pride Month! I made sure to wear my purple pajama pants today :::nodth::: ) A very lovely observer has perfected my dreadful Spanish and I posted his translation of "Pretty White Kids with Problems" in the Mad TV lyrics section! I've also added a few links and added a new joke!
2-13-03-'Tis the eve before That Dreaded Day, (methinks you'll find something about That Dreaded Day somewhere on the site :::mysterious::: ^_~) and I have gathered a tale to tell for thee. A girl (like every year) in my class recieved a huge-ass box of roses. While the class was standing in rapt attention on the roses, I simply told my math teacher, "well, at least it's better than a severed head!" She vastly agreed. However... what if somebody went the extra mile on that severed head and placed it inside of a lovely flower arrangement or fruit basket? Then, that person would have done The Rosiel. (Yeeeeah, Angel Sanctuary joke time. W00t! Rosiel, a maddened angelic character of Angel Sanctuary, severs many-a-head throughout the manga. Not only does he do that, though, he also places them inside lovely fruit baskets! He's the most sensible serial killer I've ever seen. He's the Martha Stewart of deranged murderers. And yes, I *do* find this amusing ^^)
Buuuut, enough with the side-tracking, after weeks of my bored.com email service has withheld emails from me, (stating I have taken too much bandwith, when there are only 35 KB in my account and the limit is 2 MB, which is quite larger) I have changed my address to Falcon795@yahoo.com . Hopefully, they won't be quite as craptacular as boredmail was. For your convenience, I have changed all of the links to my bored.com address I could find on the site (if you found one I missed, feel free to email me at my new addy and let me know!) Just a note, if you have sent me anything after around January 31, please send it to my yahoo account. I haven't been ignoring you. ;) I've also added many-a-new quote from Tenabrae on the guest quotes page! 12-27-02-I LIVE! Not only that, but I feel *much* better! ('Tis probably because I dropped one serious endeavor and gained a wonderful other, namely my friend Mike. He's my slash buddy. We make pizza, plan to wear much leather, vinyl, and other such fabrics at Anime Boston in April, and watch Margaret Cho! He's simply grand.) Enough with my babble, on with the update! This may be meager, but I kowtow to the people and make an attempt to include them on my site as soon as my lazy fingers will muster the strength to reach the keyboard. I got a new quote on the guest quotes page!
I would also like to grant everyone a happy (belated for many) holiday season and vacation! My Yule was fabulous; I went to NYC, watched my first sunrise, finished rereading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and ended my trip gazing at the lovely full moon from my bus window. I hope your days have been just as great as mine! If not, (and even if you did) I distribute imaginary pies to thee. :::distributes::: In short, 'tis a magical time of pie, Remus Lupin, and Irish jigs for all. 'Ta!
11-06-02- :::Futile attempt to appear professional::: To speed to the point: I've been in a weak attempt to juggle my feelings, between those I love well crushing my psyche, my classmates making me uncomfortable, and being so ahead of my peers that it often irritates me to be considered in their league (or, at least, that's what at least three school guidance counslers told me...) among numerous other issues... All in all, 'tis quite reminiscent of a few years ago, when I began to make this site... mostly, it was a method for me to laugh and at least have fleeting moments of happiness, which were precious to me. So please forgive my gaps in updating -- I'm not in a lovely state of affairs at the moment (and yes, I still love all of you. ;)) However! I did get off my lazy ass today and update. (Hopefully, I'll bug Elise enough for her to remember she needs to send me her new PTT Man story :::evil laughter::: ) I added a new joke and archived an ol' joke in the political/chicken archives, just on time for the end of Election Day. (Of course, my psychotic friends and I made that joke into mistranslated l/r madness, which I believe stemmed from one of the old jokes on HA. "I mean, Jeb Bush had his hands in his brother's erection!" "Not just Jeb... by the ads that took place during the recounts, the sly sneers on his parents' faces made it clear his entire family had a hand on his rise." ... Yes, we *are* sadistic. ^^) I also added a new quote from a :::gasp::: fan of HA. Almost as exciting as roadkill freshly cooking on the skillet.
9-23-02-heh, I have no excuse this time, lest for "Lack of Naps." ^^ However, ideas have been swimming in my head for months, but all I have to do is stop being lazy and put my ideas into action. For now, I have some quotes for thee!
